Newport Charter Yacht Show, June 23rd-26th 2024

Horizon Yacht USA would like to congratulate the Horizon FD110 Freedom for showcasing the excellence of Horizon Yachts and winning three out of six competitions at the Newport Charter Show 2024.  The Newport Charter Yacht Show is a four-day event dedicated exclusively to yacht charter professionals, agents, owners, brokers and captains and is in the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard. This summer destination is perfect for cruising, racing and chartering and has become New England’s yachting hub, attracting some of the world’s most spectacular yachts.

Freedom Captain, Brendan Emmons, and his crew won first place in the Chef Competition, Floral Arrangements, and Best Yacht Hop. The Yacht Hop team hired a steel drum band and had a sommelier available for French wine tasting. The Freedom chef on board, Chef Kendra, created delicious appetizers for the event. The Horizon FD110 was one of the larger yachts showcased at the Newport Charter Yacht Show and drew much attention for the versatility and entertainment features of this yacht.
